helppo is a massive wooden stool that can be assembled by hand without any glue or screw. therefore it becomes easy to carry and friendly to use along its lifecycle. stackable by pair, it comes in natural birch finish. -- 2009 handmade in finland according to traditional woodwork techniques. prototype only. strap -- how might we improve assembly, storage, and transportation of a basic yet essential piece of furniture? strap is an occasional table that can be shipped and stored flat thanks to a simple folding principle, making everyday life easier in small apartments. no screw required, the plywood is covered up by a pvc coating used as a hinge to fold the table. strap is easy to clean and offers large finishes options. -- 2008 personal project. prototype only. made in bourgogne -- how might we highlight local culture and symbology?
